a. Massa Marittima: Within the area of the Metalifere hills and considered as the artistic jem of the Maremma with its medieval palaces, it's sienese fortifications, it's stupendous romanesque/gothic cathedral, rich with sacred artworks, this town also hosts an unusual and mysterious fresco of profane art, unique in Toscana.
b. Castiglione della Pescaia: Suggestive panoramas of the sea and the distant lowlands are characteristic of this medieval town which boasts a small but well conserved historical center with its medieval walls, its aragonese forteress, the antic communication trenchs of its militias, the romantic sight of the via dell'amore along with two romanesque churchs. Also pleasant is the evening walk along the port as the fishermen return from the sea to animate the life of this community.
 Roselle - Vetulonia
a) Roselle: A rare exemple of an Etruscan-Roman settlement, this archeological site permits us to reconsctruct the history of the etruscan civilisation through its walls, its antic roads, it's houses and to enjoy one of the most beautifull panoramas of the ancient Grossetto plain.
b) Vetulonia: At the center of an important mineral area Vetulonia was once a rich and powerfull etruscan city as one can guess from the imposing tombs of its necropolises and from it's rediscovered precious goldsmith. The visit of it's urban excavations, of the archeological museum and the necropolis will give us a better understanding of the the art, the craftmanship and funeral practices of the etruscans.
 Grosseto - Parco della Maremma
a) Grosseto: Center of remarkable political and economical importance at the end of the middle-ages the city has a small but rather gracious historical center completly closed in from within its antique medici walls. Inside the center there are a few precious monuments : The Cathedral, the church of Saint francis and the imposing medici fortress. The city also hosts a lovely archeological museum which has a collection of findings originaly from Roselle and the entire area of the maremma. It also has beautifull collection of sacred art.

It will also be possible to explore the area where the butteri ( maremma cowboys )still today raise the cattle and the horses of the maremma and see the majestic grand ducal pinegrove and the wild coastline of Marina di Albarese.
 Isola
del Giglio
I. Island of Giglio: Named by ancient navigators the island of goats because of its rough coastline which only allows goats to pasture Giglio is the second largest island of the tuscan archipelago. The tour includes the visit of three places: the Port, with the remains of a roman villa and the coloured houses of the fishermen; the Castle, a perfectly preserved medieval centre dominated by the massive fortress "Rocca Pisana"; and the "Campese" beach spot with it's beautiful cove characterized by the splendid red sanded beach, and the seventeenth century Medici tower.
II. Island of Giglio and Giannutri: The visit is possible only by boat for an entire day. Giannutri is among the smallest islands of the tuscan archipelago, it has the shape of a moon crescent and can only be visited by foot or circumnavigated by boat. The vegetation there is of the sub mediterranean type with very particular scents and essences this island also boasts the presence of a roman villa of great archeological value.
Island of the Giglio: visit of the Port with bus availability to reach the castle.
 Argentario and Talamone
a) promontory of the Argentario: Connected to the mainland by two thin strips of land which form the ample laguna of Orbetello. The area is of great interest as much for its natural beauty and landscape than for its history and the artistic monuments of its three towns.
The small medieval and renaissance port town of Porto Ercole famous for its spanish fortifications which as of today still surrounds the area, is above all renowned for being the place where the great Caravaggio mysteriously died.
Orbetello: town located on the laguna of the same name that still has strong evidence of etruscan presence ( the antique walls), medieval presence ( the beautiful facade of the cathedral) and a spanish presence (the powdery of Guzmann, the wind mill and the palace of the governor).
Porto santo Stefano: the most recent town of the argentario and the most inhabited thanks to its port that connects the islands of Giglio, Giannutri and Montecristo. For those who like breathtaking landscapes we suggest the panoramic road that takes around the premontory.
b) Talamone: It has been inhabited continuously since etruscan times up to Garibaldi and today is a beach resort located on the southern edge of the Maremma natural reserve. The presence of a few old houses wrapped around a sienese fortification testifies and defends the town's prestigious past.
 Cosa and Capalbio
Cosa is situated on top of the Ansedonia hill, and has a roman forum, the antique dwellings of peasants, the acropolis with the remains of monumental temples, and one of the most beautiful panoramic view of the Argentario and the laguna of Orbetello. By a small trek it is possible to reach the "Tagliata romana", where there was the "Portus cosanus" and the "Spacco della regina", spectacular " fenditura carsica" breach used up until the antiquity to regulate the water flow within the port.

 Area del Tufo
I. Pitigliano - Sovana - Sorano
a) Pitigliano, A town in a breathtaking position whereby the houses seem to be natural extensions out of the tufo boulder from which they seem to emerge. The visit of the town will start with a
walk through its historical center up to the most antic area of Capisotto, the cathedral and the discovery of the jewish quarter, the ghetto, the synagogue and the museum of hebraic culture.
